Plug
API 599 / BS 5353 / ASME B16.34 and API 6D. We offer a range of standard two way straight through
types and also multi ported valves, these can be both lubricated and non-lubricated.
The pressure balanced design valve is available in regular, short and venturi patterns, in a size range
of 1/2″ through to 36″ diameter and pressure ratings from class 150# to class 2500#.
Materials of manufacture include standard carbon steel, low temperature carbon steel, alloy steels
such as A217 WC6, stainless steel and duplex stainless steels.
Face to face and end to end dimensions are in accordance with BS 2080 and ASME B16.10, with
end connections ranging from flanged to butt weld and screwed to socket weld.
A PTFE anti friction coating on the plug greatly improves wear resistance, reduced operating torque
and increases resistance to seizure.
